Just my opinion, but I would favor one of the atypical antipsychotics (stupid they name them that way) over effexor. My doc won't hardly prescribe effexor anymore. I guess he has had too many problems with it and not enough success to justify it.

I think the APs would work nicely with the wellbutrin and not only boost its effectiveness, but smooth it out and calm down the anxiety too. Seroquel or zyprexa would be my two top choices for your situation. Don't let these meds scare you. They'll do a whole lot more for you than effexor, but that is just one opinion.
