Lazarus, How would you describe the cognitive blunting since you've taken abilify. I like the fact that you seem to find Abilify helpful after all this time. Like you, i've been dx'd w/ BP II rapid cycling but not as serious as what you've described. I have anxiety, though. i'm very med-adverse and for past 2 years, I've only been taking up to 1mg of ativan, as needed to deal with all my symptoms; but I think i need a bit more & my pdoc suggested taking 2.5mg of Abilify. My concern is that because the med is so strong, maybe I should start off even lower, like 1 mg (avail in an oral prep). JUst wonder what you think of that idea.
