> Hi everyone, I had been taking 60 mg of staterra for a few weeks with no noticable effects. Now my doctor has put me on 36mgs of concerta and I am so curious how long it will take to "kick in" and if i don't feel the desired focus where no other racing thoughts are taking over my mind, I would like to try Adderal or dexedrine or maybe a combination, anything to get through this so I don't lose my job. Can anyone give advice on what heped them the best, I sit at a computer all day that requires extreme focus- so i need some help fast! thanks

I take 15 mg of Dexedrine once a day and that works great for me. I was in a similiar situation and I am much more focused at work and able to complete all my taks without spending too much time on one and neglecting the others. I had tried Ritalin first but it wore off after 3 hours and made me very moody. Dexedrine does not have many side effects except a little appetite suppression. I have a high metabolism so I worried about losing weight, but I have lost only a few pounds. At first my doc was weighing me, but since then I have not lost anymore weight.
i have heard Adderall works well too, but he put me on Dexedrine because of the concern of losing too much weight.
