I was taking celexa and risperdal and recently switched to geodon to see if I could eliminate some of the side effects caused by the risperdal (constipation & dry mouth). The risperdal DEFINITELY helped eliminate the OCD and I was only taking .5mg. Xanax and risperdal are nothing alike (in my opinion) and you'll probably have better results with the neuroleptics. By the way, I thought they were anti-psychotics?
