Celiac's and wellbutrin

Posted by MTNDOG on May 3, 2005, at 16:26:36

Hi Everyone- Is there anyopne out there who has Celiac's and is on any form of wellbutrin. I was doing fine on the GF diet (just diagnosed) and starting to see some real changes until Wellbutrin SR. Now all my old symptoms are back- gastrointestinal stuff, horrible night sweats (I mean soak the bed, change the sheets- that bad). I've tried countless times to verify if Wellbutrin is gluten-free but I get a different answer every time. First time I called Glaxo Smith Kline they said "absolutely gluten-free" then I started to have symptoms again and I called back and they said they wouldn't guarantee it. Ay! I'm on it to supplement 60 mg of Celexa which is gluten free and 2 mg of klonopin which is also gf. The wellbutrin works great for my mood but gives me those horrible symptoms. Does anyone know anything that is similar to Wellbutrin and used in conjunction with SSRI's that I could research and find out if it has gluten in it? Any help would be appreciated! B
