Well it's like this. I have a doctor that treats me(specialist in the psych field) but then i also have a mother that is a doctor(not in the psych field) so sometimes i ask her for a prescription and that's how i got pregabalin(Lyrica). I prefer not to ask my mother, but in some cases when i'm going off label like Lyrica for anxiety. And since it's not scheduled in any way she is pretty comfortable with prescribing it.
