So, I think I'm "ready" to try an maoi.It sounds to me like you are more than ready. I took Nardil for many years, and it was amazing. It gave me a life back. The contraindications for meds and food are not difficult at all. The only fear I had was the possibility that I might one day be given meds in an emergency situation that would be contraindicated by the maoi. So I wore a necklace - fortunately, the situation never arose.
