I feel stoned and spacey as if I had smoked marijuana or taken mild mescaline. Taking Paxil was like being on LSD everyday. Zoloft was not as intense but still made me feel more stoned than I already am. Wellbutrin seems to be better because it is not affecting serotonin, but by itself something is lacking. Hallucinogenic drugs supposedly stimulate the 5HT2a receptor so I thought maybe a 5HT2a antagonist would help. I tried Mirtazapine but it did not really do what I expected and I did not like the blockade of histamine. Nefazodone is supposed to be a potent antagonist of 5HT2a but it is also dangerous to the liver. Any ideas or thoughts on this. I probably should retry Mirtazapine at a higher dose and forget about the histamine problem.
