Hi:
In my 'personal' experience with the pdocs., ... I went 3 - 4 pdocs. in the past including a current pdoc. who is my pdoc. for the past four year, most of pdocs. suggest Bper's a need of time, due to the severity of M.I.). Although, med. combo. is a very first-line for us to get better, however like any other 'serious' illnesses, it's also needed 'time' to recover from a disaster(can't find a right word for, ...), Bp.

In my case, ... it took almost 3 - 4 years to feel better even with a right med. combo. It's a lot of pain and hurt to know this, ... but it's true for most cases, if you got any serious illnesses.

In your previous post, above, ... it seems your Bp is a mixed state Bp, mostly likely Bp I with mixed state (or ultra-rapid cycler) as seeing you cycles very rapidly or several times within a day. I had a ultra-rapid cycler, but a right med. combo. along with 'time', both of which have helped me feel almost 'normal.' Then, you might need to give it more time that includes a lot of rest and non-stress environment.
In regard to Bp dx, ... it seems most of pdocs. do NOT tell officialy what form of Bp you have. They use # after Bp, ... i.e, Bipolar, mixed (#), ... I can't remember this well, ... but (#) shows the degree of your Bp.
H.G.
