My DS is on such a small dose right now, that I give it to him at night and it doesn't activate him too much. Then again, he takes a clonodine chaser, so that pretty much resolves any sleep issues.
But his pdoc said it was up to me when I gave it to him the Luvox. When he was on a larger, split dose, I was giving him the lion's share in the morning.
I would think it would be fine to switch, honestly. I can't see why it wouldn't be. You should check with your pdoc, of course, to see what he/she thinks, but in the end, it really is up to you and how your body handles the medication. You could always try it and if it doesn't work as well, switch back.
