I had severe akathasia on Lexapro- it was a living nightmare.

I felt like my insides were going to explode, my mind would race, I would pace the floor for hours, I could not get comfortable in my own skin.

It ended up making me suicidal becuase I felt this way NON stop, could not sleep, and it just felt endless/hopeless.

If this continues maybe you should decrease the dosage back down to 30 mg's. When my mom went up to 60mg's she had a horrible panic attack and had to be dropped back down. Maybe it's just too much for you.

But, if the restlessness/anxiety becomes too much, ask the doctor for a temporary benzo and if they won't give you one, then use Benadryl.
