Trazadone for sleep. Onset, Dose, Effectiveness?s

Posted by fachad on March 27, 2005, at 20:54:34

I know trazadone is very very old news for sleep.

Does it really work?

Are there any drug interactions with other psych meds?

How long does it take to work? (for me, Ambien works in about 15 minutes, while Ativan takes about 2 hours).

What is the best dose for sleep? Is it like Remeron where a lower dose works better for sleep than a higher dose?

How long does it last? (for me, Ambien only lasts 4 hours, then I wake up. Ativan lasts 8 hours. Remeron lasts about a week.)

Anyting else special or different I should know about Trazadone?
