Hi,

I have taken Remeron for about 4 years at 15mg. First it was Organon Remeron tablet then Remeron soltab then Mirtazapine soltab and finally Mirtazapine tablet. The only slight difference I noticed was the SolTab seems to induce tiredness within a half hour for me while the tablet takes about an hour. Generic and name brand seem the same to me. One interesting note is the generic Mirt. tablet I take actually says E20 on it. When I saw it at first I went back to the pharmacy and literally had the clerk show me the bottle that said Mirtazapine 15mg tablet, open it and show me a pill. I like this med, very effective and I have not gained any weight. Good Luck. JN
