Had you tried other TCAs or SSRIs for anxiety? I took clomipramine, helped with anxiety (before pooping out)--an antidepressant that i liked. But sexual side effects are supposedly substantial.

The TCAs that act more on norepinephrine (as opposed to serotonin) are supposed to have less sexual SE. The TCAs are spread out on a continuum in terms of serotonin vs norepinephrine action.
I am on desipramine (acts heavily on norepinephrins) and find it helpful. It seems it is getting more helpful by the day.
