I've been on Lithium and the Zyprexa combo. for manic side of my Bp II. From what I've been experiencing, this combo. is a GREAT combo. for me, particularly 'dysphoric'(severe angry outburst) along with 'ultra-rapid cycler.' I'm quite happy about its result, as seeing my Bp mania has been almost, 95% wiped out from my system.Before this combo., I was all the time 'angry' over nothing, even my pet dog's barking made me SO angry. Then, I'd say this combo. is a 'miracle' combo. for me in regard to my Bp II mania.
As for 'Paxil,' ... I'm suprised to see you got one in the first place, because this med. seems not well-working on Bp II. But, of course, everyone is different. For me, the Trazodone before the bed giving me a 'wonder,' since this med. has both effectiveness, 'anxiety,' and 'anti-depressant,' plus 'very economical' BTW. But, somewhere over the Internet, I read 'Paxil CR(or XR?) has good effect on both, Anxiety and Depression.
If I were you, ... I call the pdoc. to ask another med., particularly a med. for a replacement of Paxil that might be causing a 'big' problem.
