I was put on it for two weeks along with doxepin and lithium when I first started meds a long time ago. They were giving it to me for panic+mixed episode, to get me stable until the doxepin took over on its own (for the panic) and the lithium kicked in (for the bipolar). The limbitrol was a good med, I slept great (along with the other meds helping). When I presented at the pdoc's office I was sleeping about 2 hours a night and was in an air-raid full panic mode anxiety trip, depressed and talking a hundred miles an hour.
