Phillipa - I see it's about 6 degrees in North Carolina right now (about 43 fahrenheit). That's warm! It's supposed to go down to -11 tonight.

If anybody has any ideas about combating medication-induced sweatiness, I'd appreciate hearing them. I was thinking about dousing the bed in baby powder, but that might just result in a messy pile of cold sweaty, sticky, powdery yuck.

I've read through old postings and the only thing I can hang my hope on is that the night sweats will pass with time. It appears from what others have said that this, too, is a result of one's body getting used to the medication. What joy.
