I have stopped taking Cymbalta after having been on it since late Sept., due to a wicked face rash and also not really being thrilled with the results. It took me a long time to put the face rash and Cymbalta together, but since I quit, my face has cleared up. I haven't read of anyone else on this forum having this problem, but it was pretty bad. I also felt a constant anxiety and an inability to concentrate.
So I am back on Effexor XR - yeah, I know, scary to a lot of people, but it was a better drug than Cymbalta, and weaning off of it was no problem, so until I can find something else I haven't tried, I am going to have to go with what I know. I am also taking Abilify, .5 mgs, but I don't really know if this has helped.
drugs suck.
