Baby steps Bob...baa...beeee steps. Everyone says exercise is good for you...BECAUSE IT IS! Just do a "little" at a time. Gradually those "littles" add up. Once you get that "feeling" and you'll know when it happens...you'll really start to enjoy the benefits of exercise, both mind and body. It takes time. Sometimes I just don't want to workout, even a little...but I know if I don't do something I'll feel crappy the rest of the day. I have a Black belt...no big deal...It was just a goal of mine. I reired after I got my first degree Black Belt due to too many injuries. I did a lot of different activities, running, weights, skiing...blah blah blah. I always thought Yoga was kind of a "sissy" activity. I've been doing Yoga for about 18 months and it is the best workout I've ever done. It's really all you need. I am so surprised at how hard and lean my body has become from just yoga alone. I do a style called Bikram yoga. Look it up on line to see if there's a studio near you. You can also check out the benefits and such. Be aware Bikram studios are heated to 110 degrees with 60 % humidity...it's a 90 minute class. If not there are other Yoga's to try. Sorry to carry on so long...but there is certainly magic in doing some form of exercise a couple times a week...and working up to daily workouts. Good luck, give Yoga a try. Maybe others out there can throw in their 2 cents on Yoga's they like.
