The theoretical literature has claims that as the dosage of Remeron increases, fatigue and weight gain will decrease... I never experienced this and my doctor never saw this in practice.

If Remeron is working well for you as an antidepressant then I would say, continue.. it can be a fairly effective antidepressant with somewhat different properties from the SSRIs.

But from someone with an unmentionable weight gain (since have come off the Remeron, it was taken for a somewhat complicated off label reason) I say, put time delayed padlocks on the refrigerator! No, I'm not trying to discourage you from the medication but weight is a significant issue with it, just have to watch the portion intake and say "enough" at a given point.
