Well, I'm not sure what major depression feels like, but what I was feeling was not so much a sense of sadness or hopelessness. Rather, it was a flattening of affect that allowed me to feel no joy (along with no anxiety either). Eventually it reached a point where I had this slight negative feeling all the time, maybe you could call it depression, I don't know. Before you dump the Klonopin, just remember everybody reacts differently to medication, and despite the negatives, Klono is extremely effective for social anxiety.

Bottom line is the best meds currently for Social phobia are either:
1) Klonopin + something to stave off the ensuing depression

- or -
2) Nardil

I'm still tapering off the Klonopin, by the way, so I'm not sure when I'm going to get off of it completely
