It really shows you that they get their info primarily from the pharmaceutical sales reps and are too lazy to even check what the reps tell them against what is written in the Physician's Desk Reference book (even though the information in the book, in my experience, underestimates side-effects to a ridiculous degree).
How naive (and lazy!) do you have to be to believe that a drug company salesperson who works on commission is going to be honest and forthright with you about the drugs they are pitching.
