After being on most of the SSRI's, SNRI's, and having experienced all the benzos, I would have to say that the antidepressants did nothing for anxiety but benzos did. I have an appointment with pdoc tomorrow and am trying to get up the courage to ask if I can try it again because I had good results from it a while ago while not on antidepressants. I almost think they cause depression. I am currently taking l.5mg of klonopin a day but think it depresses me. If you take xanax, it can give you rebound anxiety because of the short half-life. Valium has a long one but I don't think it builds up in your system. It's been around a long time.
