I found Mellaril to have very, very little effect on agitation and major anxiety, while Risperdal, Seroquel, and Zyprexa have helped. It was almost like taking a sugar pill. Mind you, it takes about 2-3 mg's of Risperdal, and 15-20 mg's of Zyprexa to affect me. Many years on these meds seem to build up a bit of tolerance.
