I've had very positive response to it. I was taking 30mg/d with noticeable improvement not just in mood but in social interaction. I'm still not good at initiating conversations with strangers, but strangers have started initiating conversations with me - which definitely wasn't happening before Cymbalta. I moved up to 40g/d a couple days ago to see if I might get to a point where I take the initiative. I'll keep moving up if necessary, depending on whether side effects worsen.

It did take a couple months to get side effects under reasonable control. I now have to take Trazodone to assure sleep and 4 to 6 fiber tablets a day to combat constipation. I still have trouble getting an erection, but that's slowly improving (perhaps due to 1g/d of L-arginine and 240mg/d of ginkgo biloba) and I am finally able to climax some of the time. I never lost my libido and genital sensation, as I did with Luvox, which is partly what encouraged me to stick with it.
