I did not want to get into the anti-psychotics thread because I was never on them and do not know much about them. But, speaking of twitches, I had those for 8 years before the benzos believe it or not, eyelid but would spread around my body. Now though they are stronger. I believe I had an anxiety disorder of sorts before the drugs, though it was easy to live with. Now it is just blown out of proportion. Have you considered an anti-depressant?? I mean I know for many this idea is completely out of court. They say it makes benzo withdrawal worse, but I wonder how many gave it the month or so it takes to work.... I personally know people who relate to my current anxiety symptoms (I do believe a lot is residual from the benzos in my case)and they claim the ADs solved their problem, saved their necks. One guy I know has been on Lexapro two years. He was messed up bad and now is a happy and successful parent, husband, and business professional.
