well i went and saw my doc and he confirmed that increased sweating (especially night sweats) and a higher level of prolactin in the blood are indeed side effects of effexor-xr - rare ones, but still at least now i know for sure. anyway, i was given the option of swapping to a different medication, but have decided to start weaning me off the effexor instead, so hopefully all goes well and i can once again me medication free!!
