This is interesting that you responded to such a low dose. How long before you felt a response? Have you responded to any other meds at such low doses? I gave up on Cymbalta after 27 days because I couldn`t stand the side effects on doses ranging from 7.5 mg to 20 mg- it seemed pointless to keep trying when there was no way I could imagine being able to get to the therapeutic range of 40-60 mg. Now I`m wondering if I should try again at 5 mg. I don`t know. It`s the blurry vision/dilated pupils that worry me the most. I know these are common problems with many AD`s but Cymbalta seems worse than any other med I`ve tried in this regard. I`m only 54 and at my last eye exam in February the doctor informed me that I had a cataract AND the earliest stages of macular degeneration. I`d thought these were things you got when you`re 80. I guess it`s true that depression makes you age faster. Cecilia
