betablockers - headache

Posted by sdb on October 11, 2004, at 9:22:01

Hi,

does somebody take betablockers regularly to prevent panic attacks? I have only taken them occasionnaly for about 3 days. But I always had headache. I have tried several betablockers. Above all the lipophilic betablockers cause headache because the substance can cross the blood-brain barrier. Unfortunately the hydrophil betablocker "atenolol" cause some unwanted side effects.

But does this headache subside with time?
Can the system adjust with time to the substance?
Does somebody have experience with bopindolol?
