After years of refusing it, I've finally accepted meds. My doc put me on Cymbalta, but after reading a lot of the threads, I'm scared out of mind about how it might affect me. I took my first 30mg dose this morning at 9am, got nauseous at 11am, was anxious at 1pm and then at 3pm became very, very calm. I haven't felt this calm in at least a year. It's 8:30pm now and I know that this feeling has to be the Cymbalta. The doc said it would take a week before I felt better, and it's only day one. Is this normal? Or is it because I've never taken any meds before? Starting tomorrow, my dosage is ramped up to 60mg. I guess that's when I'll start getting the shakes and lethargy everyone else talked about. Any advice for a meds virgin?
