This situation sounds like a benzodiazepine may help. Ativan may be of choice, it calms nerves and acts in some way a mood stabilizer. Adderall really can make you irrtible, and wellbutrin, omg, mainly wellbutrin is a norepinephrine reptake inhibitor and also dopamine, which when elevated can cause voilent behavior.

An anti-psychotic such as Seroquel will be effective sense it lowers dopamine levels.

Also abilify may help also.
