I agree with tinydancer- for dissociation itself, meds don't make much difference at all. But for the depression which often goes with it, I think all of the SSRI's,SNRI's and Wellbutrin can be helpful. I assume that TCA's and MAOI's would be too, but I don't have any personal experience with them. I don't have experience with the AP's either. I do think psychotherapy is very helpful in integrating the *parts* and recovering lost memories. It's helped me enough so that I don't take medication any longer, although I took a lot of different AD's for about 10 years before I began intensive therapy. It's a serious thing to have, but i do think psychotherapy, done properly is very helpful.
