My sister has taken Navane and lithium for several years. Recently she has become very ill to the point that she is now in a nursing rehab facility and not able to take care of herself. Problems started for her when her psychiatrist started her on Abilify while still on the other 2 drugs. She is off the Abilify now, but remains ill. Her symtoms are severe confusion/dementia, not able to complete sentences or really to talk at all. I have found some brief references to lithium and Navane adverse drug interactions. I would like to see if others may have had problems like this, and to find something I could show here psychiatrist and PCP about this interaction. I believe she should be off the lithium now.
