Just out of curiousity, what did your doctor say about Keppra when he/she prescribed it to you? Have you ever tried Lamictal or any other mood stabilizers?
Keppra is a good med but if you get the dose to high, it can make you aggressive, a little hostile and just spun out in general, although it kills anxiety in it's tracks! I tried 1000mg (500mg twice daily) and I felt it wearing off mid afternoon and was also very short fused, which is unlike me, so I started taking 750mg (250mg 3 times daily).
I now take 500mg (250mg twice daily) because I added Lamictal, but just wanted to point out that Keppra can be very activating if your dose is to high for you.
