I have never taken Cylert. Usually my doctor is not at all conservative about prescribing restricted drugs, but he will not prescribe this. He said that liver damage can occur well in advance of abnormalities showing up on liver function tests. At first I was annoyed that he wouldn't prescribe it and I thought he was just being a fuddy-duddy, but now I think he made the right decision. I have so much difficulty with metabolizing most medications, and I think if anyone would have trouble with Cylert, I would! If I hadn't had so many horrific reactions to medicines in the past, I probably wouldn't feel this way, but I've been through the wringer so many times, I'm not going to tempt Fate.
