You may want to consider some factors. I have considered and tried all of these. Anxiety is a fluid / dynamic process in which your methodsto manage it will change.

1) If your episodes are seldom, do you want to medicate and possibly feel medicated all the time with an anti depresant?

2) If your always anxious, obviously medication fits this scenero perfect. Therapy would be good to posible get off the meds.

3) If your episode are seldom, try other anxiety suppressants like xanax or klonapin.

4) Anxiety therapy.
