Hello, long time xanax user too. My pdoc made me try the XR also, and I didnt like it. Only because it made me tired all day. It was the 2mg dose (which is what i take daily, but when I want). I just didnt like the groggy feeling. But, that may have just been me. Otherwise it was fine.
