I thought I posted this same thing this morning, but came to see if there were replies and my post wasn't here. DARN! So here I am again!
There are just too many AD's out there...I'm so confused. I think I've read too much and now my brain is jumbled and shut down.
I've been on Wellbutrin XL 300mg for 6 weeks now and I absolutely love it!!! I feel better, have more energy, etc. (Hell, I've even lost 10 pounds). But the ringing (Tinnitus) hasn't gone away...I think it's getting worse. I told my doc about it and he suggested I change to Zoloft, but after reading up on that it seems the side effects will make the things I'm trying to cure worse. I used to not want to get out of bed, not want to do anything, go anywhere, no libido, nothing!! So I'm a little concerned as to why he'd change me to Zoloft.
I've left a message for him (his nurse) to call me back....I have too many questions.
What I guess I need to ask.... Is there a drug like Wellbutrin XL but doesn't cause tinnitus? I've heard of Wellbutrin SR, is this very different than the XL?
