> Hello all - My pdoc has determined that the irritability and anger that I've been experiencing is due to inappropriately high levels of norepinephrine. He has prescribed clonidine as a remedy; he states that he has effectively used this in the past for similar cases, as clonidine, apparently, lowers the norepinephrine levels associated with rage, etc. In fact, he says that in certain patients, their feedback has been that they've never felt as relaxed.

Clonidine is an Antihypertensive that is Alpha-2 NE agonist & is worth trying. Some people, myself included, get cranky & irritable after taking Remeron, which is an Alpha-2 NE antagonist
& essentially does the opposite to Clonidine.
