I guess you take what works. But PERSONALLY I would never go on Zyprexa again because of the weight gain. It also made me very tired.

You do have to drink a lot of water on Lithium. Maybe you need a higher dosage. Plus you never said what you were taking it for. If you are bipolar 300 mg of lithium would not be enough to give you the right levels of lithium in your blood.

But for many people, Zyprexa is their saviour and they are willing to put up with the weight gain.

> affects? i'm on lithium and even on a very low dose of 300mg daily, i'm having side affects. i wear contacts and my eyes are always burning from being dryed out. i drink water so i don't know what's up? plus i haven't noticed any good coming from the lithium. i've been reading about symbyax. i've been on prozac before with some success but i have heard that adding something like zyprexa to it helps it. but the side affects on zyprexa scare me too. any info would be wonderful. thanx.
