dependent on ssri's to communicate???

Posted by mike lynch on June 20, 2004, at 15:17:31

I have never had a speech impedement, but now it seems I have trouble pronouncing words , constant stuttering , forming sentence in awkward fashion , unable to fully pronounce all the letters , and I have an extremely hard time expressing what I have to say.

It seems this happens when I go OFF the ssri's, before I was on any of the ssri's I did not have trouble with communication...now it seems my brain is dependant on them in order to talk properly. When I am on them I seem to do fine, but that's not the point...I don't want my brain to be molded to the usage of the ssri's....it's like it depends on this drug for daily functioning. And plus I can't go on SSRI's side effects are horrible..I mine as well not be alive if I take them because all I do is sleep and do nothing all day.

Has this happened to anyone else??
