Table 3 has some comparisons between the three MAOIs. Unfortunately, it does list Marplan as more sedating than Nardil; however, this is only one perspective and may not tally with some users' experience. I would expect Nardil and Marplan to be more similar to each other than either would be to Parnate, as both Nardil and Marplan are hydrazine derivatives (this is why both are listed as 5's for hepatotoxicity, but keep in mind that this is a relatively rare side effect). Parnate, OTOH, has a more amphetamine-like structure, is more dopaminergic, and more stimulating.
