I'm not gonna give numbers, if you don't mind, on accounta I'm older than you are -- "middle aged", how's that?
When I stopped the Effexor, the weight that had just crept on -- about 55 pounds, altogether -- just started creeping right back off. I didn't get as thin as I had been, which was actually good. I got to a few pounds heavier than I would have liked, but only about 5 more than I would have been aiming for had I been dieting. I didn't do anything besides stopping the drugs. No change in diet, no change in activity level, nothing. I just stopped the drug. It did take a few months -- but mostly because I wasn't paying any attention to it at all. One day, out of the blue, I stepped on a scale for a lark and noticed that I was about 30 pounds lighter than I had anticipated. Nice surprise, eh?
Good luck to you.
