Hey, francesco, thanks for the support. Sorry to hear about your difficulties as well. I did not hear my dr. specifically say 'long term psychotherapy' but I am on Medicaid and there in lies a problem ...they don't pay the high costs of these high dollar shrinks. I pay a reduced amt of $ to see a general cousellor/therapist and that is affordable. But I don't know if she will be able to help me with my head problems or not or if my family will have to find a way to get me some more intensive help. The meds do take the edge off but nothing to the degree that I feel 'life is grand ' or anything like that. I know that I do have some psycho-social issues to deal with its' just hard to believe that a 'personality dis-order can make one feel so damn miserable - :( ....any how thanks for responding and good luck to you!
