Any reason for not going with regular Paxil. The half life is actually longer if you look at the prescribing info on both. Paxil CR simply has a barrier coating that passes your stomach into your lower intestine which for me caused major cramps and diarreah. Regular Paxil actually helped me with irritable bowel problems while the CR version made it much worse.

Glaxo's lame attempt to salvage sales since Paxil went generic in my opinion.
