I took remeron with provigil (100 mgs) I started 30 mgs of remeron and it took me several weeks to adjust. I was sleeping way too much. I stuck with it becuz at the time I felt it was my last option. SSRIs never worked well for me. My insomnia got so bad that remeron was a welcome relief. After 2 years, I did gain enough weight that I recently stopped using it. Provigil totally took away my appetite-until about 9 pm when I took remeron and ate chocolate every single night for months. This was like an addiction! (Years ago, I used to throw out leftover candy from Xmas, Halloween, Easter, etc.) This craving ceased when I stopped the remeron. Remeron didn't help my mood much. But it works great for some people. I think you must take 30-45-or 60 mgs to get the benefits of mood. At least that is what I have read here in the past.
