antidepressant for sexual dysfunction?

Posted by AndiA on April 26, 2004, at 10:16:03

Hi folks, I'm new here and this is my first post. I saw a medication advertised for women that claimed to treat sexual dysfunction due to hormonal events like childbirth, meopause, menstrual cycles, etc. I was wondering if anyone has heard of this (I don't remember it as being a hormone-replacement therapy, I think it was an antidepressant) because I can't find the advertisement or any related articles. I can't remember the name of it and I wanted to research it before asking my doctor about it. Had a baby last year and am dealing with some pretty serious postpartum depression, lack of sexual interest being a large part of it. TIA for any help.
