Diazepam is on the PBS. Clonazepam is only PBS-subsidised for epilepsy.

Almost entirely for depression.

I'm not so sure - my pharmacist said it's only about $12-$15.

> I thought amphetamines would make you anxious?

Recreational doses (100 or 200 mg) can cause extreme anxiety/jitteriness, but in psychiatry they generally prescribe less than 60 mg a day, which mostly has a calming, focussing, motivating effect. Also, dextroamphetamine is much less anxiety-provoking than methylphenidate or mixed amphetamine salts.

> And he needs authorization from the HD?

'Fraid so - state laws say that this is needed, except for ADHD and narcolepsy.

> Thanks I'm ringing up tommorow to go on the waiting list or maybe see another psych at that clinic.

Good for you.
