None really. Remeron blocks H1, 5-HT2A, 5-HT2C, 5-HT3 & Alpha-2 NE receptors. It is such a potent H1 blocker that at roughly 15mg is has totally saturated H1 receptors & is why it is so sedating at low doses. In the 15-30mg range there is 5-HT2A, 5-HT2C & 5-HT3 blockade. Mostly good things except 5-HT2C blockade can stimulate appetite like H1 blockade. 30mg & up starts blocking Alpha-2 NE receptors which is said to be stimulating, but I just find it irritating. I would think that up to 30mg you will be just fine, after that you may want to monitor your blood pressure. I would expect it to slowly creep up, but I can't see any mechanism that would cause a crisis.

Cheers,
Panda.
