Silly, but what docs tend to be most benzophobic

Posted by platinumbride on April 24, 2004, at 0:07:42

I am at a bit of a crossroads.

I may have come to the end of the road with my current pdoc. One of the good things about him (in spie of the less good, for me personally) is that he has been cool about prescribing klonopin because he has seen it work for me.

If I must seek a new doc, I am kind of guessing that younger family practice types or even some younger psychs are more likely to want to give me a worthless ssri for anxiety than to risk testing what they learned in classes about benzos. Am I way off base here with this generalization?

Thanks,

Diane
